International Experience: 

I came to the US from Uganda, and found a new home at UNI. Being my first time outside my country, adjusting to the new culture, environment and weather was challenging but it also allowed me to adapt and adjust. My goal is now to help fellow international students navigate their own challenges once they move to the US.

Why I enjoy working with international students...

Being an international student myself, I have a first-hand experience with the challenges of adjusting to a new environment and culture and I love assisting them discover themselves on this new journey and providing support, empathy and welcoming them to UNI. Working with international students also gives me an opportunity to learn about new cultures, traditions and also share my own with the international students' community
