  • Embarking on my journey to pursue a master's degree at the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) in Cedar Falls has been an incredible experience. It has been challenging, but also eye-opening and incredibly rewarding. The International Engagement Office, along with a collaborative and supportive academic community, has made my learning experience truly enriching.

Why do I enjoy working with international students...

Working with international students holds a special place in my heart, fueled by the empathy born from my journey as an international student. The shared excitement and challenges of navigating a new culture, educational system, and sometimes even a different language create a unique bond. It allows me to offer support, guidance, and a sense of fellowship to those going through similar experiences.
