Subtitle
The Taiwan Scholarship is offered to non-Chinese-heritage U.S. citizens who wish to enroll in a degree program in Taiwan.
The Ministry of Education (MOE) Taiwan Scholarship Program provides tuition and miscellaneous expenses of up to NTD 40,000 each semester and a monthly living allowance of NTD 15,000 or NTD 20,000. A Taiwan Scholarship may be held for 4 years for undergraduate programs, 2 years for master’s degree programs, and 4 years for doctorate programs. Scholarship applications must be submitted to a Republic of China (ROC) overseas mission and applicants must apply separately to a university or college in Taiwan for admission.

The Huayu Enrichment Scholarship is offered to non-Chinese heritage U.S. citizens interested in studying the Chinese language in Taiwan. The application period is from February 1st to March 31st.
To encourage international students to study Huayu (Mandarin Chinese) in the Republic of China (Taiwan), the Ministry of Education (MOE) has established the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (HES). HES scholarship may be used to take a 2-month summer courses or a 3-month, 6-month, 9-month, a year- long courses. They provide a monthly stipend of 28,000 NTD.

MOFA Taiwan Fellowship is to award foreign experts and scholars interested in conducting research related to Taiwan, cross-strait relations, Asia-Pacific region and Sinology. recipients will have the opportunity to conduct advanced research at universities or academic institutions in Taiwan.
