International Engagement Arrival Form

We are excited to welcome you to UNI and to the Global Panther Family. Our Arrival Form allows us to prepare for your arrival, register you for International Student Orientation, and make sure that all is ready for you once you get to campus.

Once you have filled out and submitted the form below, our staff will get back to you with a confirmation email on your arrival details and additional information. This may take a couple of days. If you have any other questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at international@uni.edu.

A couple of notes on your arrival

If you have not secured on-campus housing, please complete the Housing Contract. The Department of Housing and Dining will get back to you shortly after your contract submission.

International Engagement offers free pick up to international students who are arriving at the Waterloo (ALO) or Cedar Rapids (CID) airport or Waterloo Bus Terminal. Arrival dates for the current semester can be found in the text above this form or on the Orientation tab.

Linen Packets

Would you like a linen packet?

Linen packets include a X-Long Comforter and Sheets, Standard Size Pillow, Twin Size Blanket, (1) Bath Towel, (1) Hand Towel (1) Wash Cloth

Linen packets contain extra long comforter and sheets that fit the beds in our on campus housing.
The cost of a linen packet is $75 which will be applied to your U-Bill.
If you order a linen packet and you live on campus, it will be delivered to your dorm and can be picked up at the front desk upon arrival.
If you live off campus and would like a linen packet you will need to pick it up at the Office of International Engagement at 113 Maucker Union on Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

You will receive a confirmation email from us from international@uni.edu. Please check your spam/junk folder and make sure you receive this email so you get all the updated information.
One of our GPS students will be at your dormitory to meet you and help you with check in and make sure you get to your room. If you ordered a linen packet it will be delivered to your dorm and can be picked up at the front desk upon arrival.
International Orientation is MANDATORY and more information can be found on the Orientation tab on our website.
Welcome bags will be handed out during orientation!

Headshot Needed

In order to help with arrival. Please upload a headshot so that we can have your University ID ready for you when you arrive.

Photo Submission Requirements:
* Current, high-resolution, color photo with a neutral, smooth background and proper lighting.
* Head and shoulders should be clearly visible. Leave some space around the side of face and above head (UNI will crop photos if needed).
* Full front-facing image with eyes open and visible. Adjust hair and clothing so that entire face is showing.
* Prescription glasses are okay if worn regularly (no glare). Do not wear dark glasses, hats or large/wide headbands.
* No selfies, photo filters or photoshopped images.
* Photos should not include other people or animals – no group photos.
* Smiles are welcome!
