In addition to schooling, there are also a couple things to note about the registration process for your child to attend schooling in the area…

Passport

  • The school district will need a copy of the child’s passport

Immunizations

  • Parents are requested to send immunization records early. The District Nurse will review them and notify the parent if any further immunizations are needed prior to attending school.

Arrival date

  • The parent needs to notify the district when they have a firm arrival date, so they can prepare for the child coming to class.

Grade

  •  The district needs to know what grade level the child is in their home country and whether the child speaks English and at what level of proficiency.

Parents are required to set up schooling for their dependent children while visiting/studying in the U.S.
