SEVIS Withdrawal Form

Withdrawing from the University of Northern Iowa? 

An international student must have their withdrawal processed through SEVIS in addition to withdrawing from the university.

  • Note that you must have authorization from the Immigration & Advising Coordinator to withdraw from UNI
  • Once your withdrawal is processed in the SEVIS Portal you will have 15 days to leave the United States
  • Fill out the form below to process your SEVIS paperwork for withdrawal

Withdrawing from the University itself is a separate process

Fill out the Registrar's Office withdrawal form in addition to the SEVIS withdrawal form in order to be properly withdrawn from UNI.
