International Student Orientation is designed to assist you with your transition to life in the United States and at the University of Northern Iowa. Orientation provides a welcoming and exciting environment to make connections with new students, current students, as well as faculty and staff.

What You Need to Know
International Student Orientation (ISO) and International Culture and Intensive English Program (CIEP) Orientation for Spring 2024 will start with online pre-orientation sessions on
Dec. 29, 2023 from 8 - 10:30 a.m. via Zoom | Register for the online Pre-Orientation Session
- International student arrival and airport pickups will be from Jan. 7 - 9, 2024
- In-person Orientation will run from Wednesday, Jan. 10 - Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024
Follow the Now That You're Admitted Guide to stay on top of your preparations, and complete the Arrival Form to register for Orientation and to let us know when you are coming. Connect with other new students, current students and staff, and learn more about what's happening on campus and the Office of International Engagement (OIE).
