The most memorable part of my UNI experience was the warm and welcoming environment I encountered as a visiting professor. I truly appreciated the collaborative spirit within the department and the genuine curiosity and engagement of the students. The professional exchange with faculty members, along with the cultural and academic diversity on campus, made my time at UNI both inspiring and unforgettable.

What I love most about the UNI community and campus life is the beautiful and well-maintained environment—the greenery, trees, and overall cleanliness create a peaceful and inspiring atmosphere. I also deeply appreciated the strong organization and continuous support I received. The International Engagement Office and the College of Education were always attentive to my needs, offering guidance and follow-up that made my experience smooth, comfortable, and truly rewarding.

How My UNI Experiences Shaped My Journey

What I love most about the UNI community and campus life is the beautiful and well-maintained environment—the greenery, trees, and overall cleanliness create a peaceful and inspiring atmosphere. I also deeply appreciated the strong organization and continuous support I received. The International Engagement Office and the College of Education were always attentive to my needs, offering guidance and follow-up that made my experience smooth, comfortable, and truly rewarding.

During my time at UNI, I completed several training programs that strengthened my skills and broadened my teaching and research perspectives. I also joined active research groups, which provided valuable opportunities for collaboration and academic exchange. In addition, attending conferences and seminars on campus enriched my knowledge and helped me stay updated on current trends in my field. Altogether, these experiences greatly enhanced my professional development and expanded my academic network.

I had the opportunity to engage in a variety of enriching experiences beyond the classroom. I visited public schools and the Meskwaki Tribal Settlement, which gave me unique cultural insights and a deeper understanding of diverse communities. I also participated in international engagement office and Threehouse activities.  I enjoyed participating in a host family program and conversation partner program, which made me feel fully immersed in the local community. These experiences not only broadened my perspective but also made my journey at UNI truly special and memorable.
